Michael's 2006 planned TOUR SCHEDULE
The Europro has been even more popular this year and with a Category 13 Michael has not been able to enter the tournaments. His first entry is at Hollins Hall Golf Club, August 30th.
05July Regional Open Championship Qualifying +5 DNQ
Michael played in the Notts GC qualifyer, on a tight course he hit the first 14 fairways & 12 greens to be one over par but he found a very thick piece of rough on the left of the 15th this resulted in an 8, a bogie on 17 and birdie finish left him 2 shots off qualifying.
09 – 10 July Local Final Open Championship Qualifying
20 – 23 July Open Championship Hoylake
Michael played in the European Tour Qualifying School at "The Oxfordshire" Missing the 1st cut by one shot was very dissapointing. In 54 holes 3 balls in the water and an imposible lie in a bunker cost 9 shots in only four holes, of the other 50 holes, he had 21 putts that lipped the hole and didn't fall, this contributed to a score which didn't reflect the solid striking and "tee to green" performance.
